Each Club KidFit program, whether dance, drama, or sports related, is designed to
meet specific goals.
Goal: To provide participants with proper instruction from a trained staff member.
All Club KidFit staff members receive specific program curriculum training and are able
to demonstrate their ability to provide instruction in a practice setting.
Goal: For children to know specific methods to live a more active, healthier lifestyle.
Children are introduced to a new daily wellness topic by the Instructor. To determine if
children have increased knowledge on the topic, participants are observed by the Instructor
in a pre and post-test discussion setting on the topic.
Goal: Children understand how to meet their weekly physical fitness and wellness goals.
Each participant receives a Wellness Tracker to complete over the duration of the program
based on the daily wellness topics. The Wellness Tracker provides each child with tangible
goals for the week.
Goal: Children begin choosing healthy food options in a normal home setting outside of class.
Increased knowledge in specific wellness topics lead to more conscious decisions made by
the child and family on a regular basis. Children are then observed demonstrating healthy
food choices by their parents or care giver in an outside-of-class setting.
Goal: Children live an active lifestyle and the percent of childhood obesity in the
United States is decreased.
This long-term goal is a combination of results from increased knowledge and demonstrated
change in daily habits to change the life of the participant.
